ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION DATABASE MANAGEMENT (EIM)

The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) has developed a comprehensive system (Environmental Information Management Database) designed to manage environmental data collected in Washington.  Data collected during site investigations is entered into the EIM database including specific sample location and identification information for each matrix (soil, water, surface water, sediment and vapor), laboratory results of each matrix tested, quality assurance and control data, statistical analysis, and other pertinent information.  ACC Environmental Consultants, formerly HydroCon Environmental,  works closely with the EIM staff to ensure that the data entry is valid and acceptable for each project, as is required by Ecology.
